You know it's fall...

...when the supermarkets start advertising Christmas Cake.
Pre-order yours today! It's not Christmas without sponge cake. @_@
This week has been pretty uneventful. The second-year students were gone all week on their class trip to Hokkaido and won't be back until Tuesday. The third-year students have started working on their skit project. Several of them are doing their own versions of fairytales. One particularly interesting interpretation of Snow White includes the princess being described as having "skin as white as snow, lips as red as an apple...and a pitch black heart." I'm looking forward to seeing how they carry that off.
I've been spending most of my spare time leveling Snowbunny, and I finally got her up to level 60 tonight. In this picture, she sits proudly on her new epic mount. (Don't laugh...that mechanical chicken cost me 900 gold pieces.)
Other than that...there hasn't been much. I'm going to have to start stocking up on candy soon to hand out for Halloween (at school, not at my apartment...no one trick-or-treats here). I hope they're still selling the chestnut-flavored KitKats. Those are really good.

Date: 2006-10-15 10:36 pm (UTC)Congratulations!
We're stocking up on candy, too. I was surprised to discover how many people don't care for chocolate. When I give them a choice, it's about 50 - 50 for chocolate or non-chocolate. Now I make sure to get some things not chocolate.

Date: 2006-10-15 11:48 pm (UTC)I think it is a good idea to have other options. The first year, I had a bunch of different kinds of candy, but the students mostly picked the KitKats (because they were bigger). The second year, I bought only KitKats. That seemed to go over okay, but then again I don't know if the students would rather have had more choices.
