I finished the body portion of the yukata. Tomorrow I'll start on the okumi, otherwise known as "those odd-shaped strips sandwiched between the body and the collar." ...I probably could have started on them today, if I were faster or more efficient at sewing, but oh well.

In other random news...pink grapefruit & aloe yogurt is NOT on my hotlist of flavors. >_<

Update: I'm watching the evening news, and what do you suppose is the opening story? ...Ramen in Space. (Or, as it is abbreviated, Space Ram. 0_0 I sincerely hope this nickname is limited to Japan.)

"Space Ram." No words. Will there be a whole family of them later?

And thanks for the heads up on the aloe yogurt. ^^;

<g> There are already four types, I believe. It's not hard to imagine that they might multiply.

And thanks for the heads up on the aloe yogurt.

Aloe by itself is fine...and it's not bad with coconut or kiwi. But the pink grapefruit was just...not right.

See, I have no idea what the aloe tastes like, whereas I thought the pink grapefruit might be tart and refreshing...when I see aloe, I think of lotion! hehehehe

It's...more texture than taste. I guess if I had to liken it to something, I'd say it's similar to a white grape.

Pink grapefruit by itself or as juice or even in fruit punch is fine. But grapefruit should never be mixed with a dairy product. ~_~ It just doesn't go well.

Yeah, now I'm thinking instant curdle-ing LOL (or ewww)

Is the Great Agar Shortage still in effect?

I don't know...I haven't been back to the grocery store to check.

I'll probably make a trip today, since I'm dangerously low on milk.

There's a shortage of agar there? How's that possible? It's a common household item, no? *mind is boggled*

There was a shortage, apparently due to an unexpected surge in demand. I went shopping today and it's back on the shelves, so it seems the situation is under control.
