Navigating round the world

It has been relatively uneventful around here. I've been occupying myself with knitting during any free time, and I finally finished my first pair of socks last week. I've started on a new pair for my dad, and I've gotten the first one done.
I did get to see the lunar eclipse. Fortunately, it happened to occur at exactly the same time that I typically walk to the bus to go to work, so I got a good long look. That was quite nice.
I spent most of my day off yesterday planning our trip to Europe this summer and buying plane tickets. It's going to be a wild trip, with stops in Switzerland, Italy, and Spain, before we head off to Japan.
