Where the plumeria blooms
Nov. 11th, 2014 11:10 amThis weekend was relatively quiet, as I was spending most of my time preparing for two upcoming events:
1. My trip to Tokyo with
megory.
2. The release of the latest World of Warcraft expansion.
You know what makes me extra crazy? Both events are scheduled to happen ON THE SAME DAY. (Blizzard, why are your expansion releases always so inconvenient for me? WHY?)
At least I may get a little time with the expansion in the morning before I have to leave.
In other news, the plumeria tree that I grew from a cutting that I bought over four years ago has finally bloomed. It has a bit more yellow in it than I expected, but I'm not going to start complaining.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention last week that I splurged on a ticket to see Neil deGrasse Tyson in San Francisco in February. I missed getting a ticket for his first appearance in January (the advertisement went to my spam folder), so I jumped on the second chance when I saw it.
