There weren't any new games of interest to me this week. That's probably a good thing, as I just got my bill for my new washer/dryer and I don't need to be spending more money right now.
It looks like Allegiance is just going to squeak by without meeting any stretch goals. What don't people like about this game? (I ask that because still in it for the art.)
From what I've heard (at least, in the Women and Gaming forum), most people are tapped out on funds due to backing a bunch of other projects recently. Rahdo, Tuscany, Saint Petersburg (on a German crowdfunding site), Pay Dirt, and Among the Stars are big ones for the women.
Some male gamers (in the Board Game Design forum) have commented that the game is too expensive for something that doesn't contain cool miniatures. They're willing to shell out big bucks for molded plastic, but the art alone isn't enough to sell them on it.
