I'm blaming the rain

I didn't get as much yukata progress done as I had hoped. I finished the sleeves and sewed the two back panels together, so it's starting to take shape, but I could have gotten further if I had devoted more time to it. I say it's the fault of the chilly, rainy weather for making me just want to curl up on the couch under blankets.

(Okay, really it's because I dillydallied while shopping, but shhh, don't tell.)

what's yukata?

It's a type of traditional Japanese clothing. It's a kimono that is worn during the summer because it is made of cotton and has no lining, so it's cooler than more fancy kimono.
