I thought it was okay this time, though, because the place I was trying to find had a half-page ad, so I figured it was a big store, and the address was easy to locate on a map. I went to Kusatsu and walked up and down the block three times, however, and couldn't find a trace of it. Finally I stopped at a nearby shop and asked, and they said the place must have closed because it wasn't there anymore. <sigh>
So, that's how I spent my morning yesterday. The weather has been cold and rainy, so I didn't go out much aside from that. Mainly I played around with drawing and coloring. (I've certainly spent enough money on art reference books. I ought to get some use out of them...)

BTW, cookies often freeze well. Why not put yesterday's cookies in small servings in the freezer, if you have space. There's always another club meeting or something else to celebrate with cookies. I just hate to see good cookies go to waste.

Date: 2005-10-23 03:49 pm (UTC)Thanks. I'm hoping to post the finished product as soon as I've made the last adjustments. I'm still playing around with colors right now. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this shadow/highlight thing... I only wish I could draw faster.
Why not put yesterday's cookies in small servings in the freezer, if you have space.
That's a pretty good suggestion. I still have about two dozen left, so I'll see how many I can fit. My freezer doesn't have a whole lot of room...
