No more small talk
Sep. 1st, 2005 05:24 pmThe exchange student seemed a lot more settled than yesterday, so that's good. I was informed today that, instead of the weekly chat session I had with the previous exchange student, I've been assigned to teach this one Japanese for an hour a week.
Wow. I'll actually be teaching a subject in which I'm certified. *_* I just have to compare notes with the other four teachers who will also be teaching her Japanese...
The schedule of classes for this month is crazy (as it was last year). Next week is the regular class schedule, but it's mostly devoted to reviewing for exams. The second week, the first and second year students will take their final exams, and the third year students will have half-days of regular classes. The third week only has three school days (it's bookended by two three-day weekends), and those are all half-days anyway. The fourth week is devoted to the culture festival.
