So do I. We included some schedule options that none of us really liked, but we considered them far better than what the chief is threatening to make us do.
Also, we are fully prepared to file grievances with the union if she tries to push through some of her more outrageous demands.
What we find most perplexing is why she doesn't just take a few minutes and ASK us for the reasons behind the way we do things. Instead, she's making unilateral decisions without knowing anything about how dogs work. It boggles the mind. Even from a personnel perspective, talking with us first would engage us as collaborators, while shutting us out turns us into enemies. It doesn't make sense.
