Rise to Power

Status: 62% funded

This is a city building card game, in which players use certain cards as currency to activate other cards that become buildings in an expanding city. While I'm sure it's a fine game, it seems rather bland--like a card game version of Alhambra...without seraglios.

March of the Ants

Status: 65% funded

In this game, players run ant colonies and try to take over various tiles that provide resources to keep the colonies running strong. I think the concept is interesting, but the base game mechanism is area control, which isn't one of my favorites.
