Do you have a recipe you use for tomato sauce, or do you just wing it?
I just make it up as I go along. Tomatoes, then salt and sugar to taste (brown sugar if I'm in the mood), plus lemon juice if I'm going to be canning the sauce for storage. Onions, basil, or oregano to taste, if I have them.
