The light at the end of the tunnel...
Feb. 13th, 2008 07:02 pm...or, more accurately, the clear space on the top of the table. So far I've done several loads of dishes, and I'm finally starting to see some table surface.
I ordered my plane ticket this weekend and I got my hotel reservations at the Sunshine Prince today. I'll be going to Tokyo on March 25th, where I'll stay until my plane leaves on March 28th.
I also bought a bunch of boxes to start packing stuff. I haven't actually started packing, of course...rather, the reverse. I seem to be buying more things. Notably, cookbooks. I mean...how could I possibly resist something like THIS? A book all about how to make Kansai-style okonomiyaki! There are also a few CDs and DVDs and such I want to be sure to buy before I leave. In addition, I need to get some converters for the electrical things I plan to take back.
I only wish it weren't cold. That makes me not want to go in my guest rooms...which is where all the stuff I need to pack is located. Ugh.
