Yo ho ho and a Happy Halloween!

I haven't dressed up for Halloween to teach before, but I figured this would be a fun year to do it. During my weekend shopping, I picked up a couple items here and there to throw together into a costume. This morning I spent about an hour weaving my hair into rather ratty braids and set off for work as a pirate. (For those who have seen me cosplay--that's basically my Hiei costume with new boots and a frilly shirt.)

My students loved it, and I even got to teach them the phrase "walk the plank" in one class.

The best part was hearing the surprised reactions of people when I would walk past. "What the--? Oh...Halloween..."

Changing shoes for every class was a bit of a pain with the boots, though. ~_~
