Vacations come, vacations go...

spacealien_vampClasses resume Thursday. I said I would show up for work Wednesday (tomorrow) in case any of my team teachers need to discuss lesson plans, which means today was my official last day of summer vacation.
I had intended to go out and run errands, but the moment I stepped outside, it started raining (about three hours earlier than forecast). So I had to scrap that plan. My backup plan was to clean my apartment, but I barely got through sorting several months' backlog of junk mail before I had enough of THAT. Instead, I spent the rest of the afternoon reading and playing around on my computer.
My cooking experiment for the day was Thai sticky rice with mango. It is seriously delicious, though I think it could do with a touch less salt.
