2014 Kickstarter Game Update Week 21

Game I Viewed:

Albion's Legacy
Status: 71% funded

In this cooperative game, players are characters from the tales of King Arthur. I think the theme is interesting and the art is fantastic (though I'm not quite sure how I feel about the bare chested Merlin...), but I'm kind of iffy about the pledge levels and the gameplay. I'll probably keep following it to see how it does during the campaign.

Yeah, they did a very bad job articulating their pledge levels. There's even a question in the FAQ section asking about the stretch goals where they reveal they belatedly decided to add the stretch goals to the Core (lowest full game) pledge level.

Anyway, if you look at the pictorial explanation of the pledge levels, that does a better job of explaining what comes with $90: an exclusive Kickstarter sleeve (sleeve for what?), foil stamping on the box (or is it "Exclusive Kickstarter sleeve foil stamping"?), 6 additional fate dice, downloadable score, one Pendragon coin, and one special wood key turn counter. The problem is, I don't know what most of those things are and if they make the game any better. The only thing I really understand are the dice (do I need more dice to play the game?) and the digital music (which I don't want). I have honestly never been less motivated by a campaign's exclusives.
