A whole lotta nothin' goin' on

Aside from grading piles of seniors' papers, everything up until now has been business as usual.

I intended to get a bunch of stuff done today...but I didn't get past two loads of dishes and one load of laundry. How does that happen?

Tomorrow morning I will be taking the Michigan exchange student to Kyoto in search of a mathematics textbook. Apparently they don't have what she needs at the school, and they don't want to ask for one to be mailed from Michigan because American textbooks are so freaking big and heavy and expensive. So we're going to check out some bookstores in Kyoto to see if there's anything suitable available.

For me, two loads of dishes and a load of laundry constitute a virtuous day, to be rewarded with much lazing about (and maybe a computer game).

You can say that because you can't see the long list of things I intended to accomplish...
